MARLÈ

Marlè is found in a central but quiet area of Agropoli on the magnificent Cilento Coast. It is only 400 metres from the train station of Agropoli Castellabate, 600 metres from the San Marco promenade and beaches, and less than 800 metres from the Old Town, with its majestic Angevin Aragonese Castle from which you can admire the enchanting scenery of the Gulf of Salerno and the splendid Cilento sea.
Its location makes it accessible particularly both for those travelling by car (as there is extensive indoor parking available for guests) and for those who prefer other means of transport (the bus stop is just 200 metres away and the bus terminal is 500 metres away).
The area is quiet and well supplied with supermarkets, restaurants, bars, shops and a post office within walking distance, and the Andrea Di Concilio sports hall and the Eduardo De Filippo municipal theatre are in the immediate vicinity.

THE MARLÈ, WITH THE ENVIRONMENT IN MIND

The Marlè pays particular attention to the environment, and a careful and scrupulous waste separation policy is observed and enforced.
Most of the wrappings used are made of glass and cardboard, with the use of plastic kept to a minimum.
We have equipped the accomodation with a micro-filtered water dispenser. Guests can use our glass jugs or their own water bottles.
Our energy needs are met almost entirely through a special photovoltaic system, all light sources use LED lamps, the electrical appliances in the rooms (air conditioning, mini bar, TV, hairdryer) are lowenergy, and there is an automatic shutdown of the air conditioning (inverter technology) when the balconies are opened.
Water consumption is low thanks to the water flow restriction systems in the showers and sinks.
The proximity to the Agropoli railway station, only 400 metres away, makes the accommodation available also to guests arriving by train, to whom special discounts and advantageous offers are offered at certain times of the year.
The central location of the B&B means that the main attractions of the city can be easily reached on foot and in just a few minutes (the Old Town, Angevin Aragonese Castle, San Marco promenade, Edoardo De Filippo Municipal Theatre, Liborio Bonifacio Public Park, the Brickworks with the Historical Museum of Industrial Archaeology and the "Acropolis" Museum, Andrea Di Concilio Sports Hall). Guests are therefore advised to leave their cars in the large indoor car park and travel on foot or by bicycle.
